New Peafowl are here!!

In 2009 we added the following colors of breeder aged peafowl to the farm.

Cameo, Cameo White Eye, Midnight, Midnight Blackshoulder,
7/8 Spaulding

We also added the following juvenile birds which should be producing in the spring of 2011.

Bronze, Bronze White Eye, Java (muticus muticus),
                                                   Imperator (muticus imperator), White, Pied


All peafowl other than  the Spauldings and Muticus breeds are very tolerant of the elements. However, the green breeds do require heat if you are in an area w/ colder winters. All color mutations of the Blues and Spauldings reproduce on their second year, the Muticus take 3-4. Peafowl live upwards of 25 years in captivity and can reproduce threw that entire time. The males put on a beautiful courtship display during breeding season, but can be very loud w/ vocalisation. I love it myself but make sure your neighbors do too if you live in a close neighborhood.

Laying Season: May - August

Pricing & Shipping: Eggs will be collected and shipped as soon as we have received payment. Chicks will be hatched and shipped after we have received payment (please allow 28 days or more for incubation). Shipping by Priority Mail for eggs or Express Mail for Chicks. There is no minimum order for eggs and /or peachicks if picked up at the farm. If peachicks are shipped there is a minimum order of 8. Prices may vary, please e-mail us for complete details.
