Bantam Call Ducks

In 2011 we added many colors of Bantam Ducks and Call Ducks to our farm. These are a small sized duck that flies like the wind, so pen are a must for keeping these. They are all from show quality stock and very beautiful. The call ducks are among the highest demand of any breed of domestic duck and for good reason. They are super friendly, small, compact, and show very well as well as come in a wide array of colors. Currently we have Mini Silver Appleyards, Black East Indies, and Call Ducks in White, Black, Chocolate, Grey, Butter Scotch, Blue Butterscotch, Magpie, Snowy, Chocolate Snowy, Blue, Blue Fawn, Buff, and Khaki. Being our first year, some of these are low in number still, but by 2013 we should have plenty of all of these, as well as some other colors we will be breeding towards.



Black, Blue, & Splash Cayugas
 
Our Black Cayugas were our first breed of duck on the farm. We just love their friendly disposition and they make real good farm pets. They are very beautiful with their blackish green bodies and emerald green heads. We just absolutely love them. The cayuga is a medium sized duck, and is flightless for the most part making them ideal for a free range yard as long as predators arent an issue.


We love our Black Cayugas so much that we decided to get the Blues too. They are just as sweet as the blacks and have very beautiful blueish grey coloration. We keep both colors together, the resulting offspring from this breeding usually gives you about 50% of each color with an occasional splash thrown in.
